Heat flux calibration

The recommended recalibration interval for heat flux sensors is 2 years to maintain accuracy. Recalibration at regular intervals is considered good practice for any measuring instrument.

At Hukx, we follow the recommended recalibration practices outlined in ISO and ASTM standards and employ validated methods tailored to each sensor type. Our heat flux sensors, such as the GG01 and SBG01, are trusted by professionals worldwide for their unsurpassed measurement accuracy.

We provide fast turnaround times and professional calibrations, including uncertainty evaluation.

Heat flux calibration
of all common brands

Hukx is a leading manufacturer of heat flux sensors. Our calibration and servicing team is at your disposal; not only for Hukx sensors, but also for selected from other major brands.

Please note that while we can calibrate heat flux sensors from other brands, we cannot perform diagnostics or service on sensors from those brands. In that case, if extensive servicing or repair is required, we recommend contacting the original manufacturer.

Self-calibrating heat flux sensors

Hukx offers self-calibrating heat flux sensors such as the HFP01SC (for soil applications) and the FHF05SC series. These models include an integrated heater for in-situ performance verification and correction of environmental influences.

For the HFP01SC, when the self-calibration function is actively used, the recommended recalibration interval can be extended to every 5 years.
